HOW DOES LASER CUTTING WORK?
- Laser cutting works by using a focused beam of light to cut through the material.
- The laser essentially melts the material away as it passes over.
- This concentrated beam targets only a specified area, allowing the laser cutting machine to create precise, high quality cuts.
- With many different types of laser solutions available, laser cutting can be performed on most materials.
- This feature makes laser cutting ideal for applications where accuracy and precision are critical to success.

FIBER LASER
Fiber Lasers are used in cutting applications effectively by virtue of advanced technology.
SPI Fiber Lasers have variMODE, a switchable beam delivery feature which allows users to tailor and optimize the beam characteristics (including spot size and beam profile) to their needs. Additionally, higher power (1 kW – 12 kW) and CW (continuous wave) laser beams allow for faster processing times.
With the higher power (1 kW – 12 kW) and CW (continuous wave) laser beams, it allows for a fast process time.

DISK LASER
TruDisk lasers offer impressive welding, cutting, and surface processing of metals. With laser power from 1 to 24 kW and beam qualities of ≥ 2 mm•mrad, TRUMPF offers ideal lasers for almost every application.
The modular design of the disk laser offers you the highest flexibility in every way. At the same time, the TruDisk laser can also easily withstand harsh ambient conditions.

CO2 LASER
CO2 lasers are advantageous when it comes to material variety, with the flexibility to adapt to a wide range of materials.
With its wavelength of 10.6 µm (far end of infrared range), the CO2 laser is perfectly suitable for the cutting of organic materials.
